Party for 8 year old?

I am throwing a party for my 8 year old cousin, and my aunt wants it to be a russian theme party. (ya it is kind of weird lol) For both boys and girls. I was thinking something like doing cool designs for painted eggs, since the thats one of the russian cousumes I read, and i rly dont know what else. Any thing from activites, to decorations, to food would be spectacular!!!! thanks!

I like the idea for the egg thing. Try something with those Matryoshka dolls, the ones that stacks, and mabey do something with anastashia (luv that movie) and for decorations, hear is the russian style http://www.bestwaytoinvest.com/UserFiles... (st. basil cathedral) it shows how they use those swilrly pointed tops on the building so do something like that. As for food, um try the bliny (famous russian dessert which is amazing!) or what there basic food is and tye it into something a kid would like!

Potato (boiled, fried, baked, potato chops, potato pancakes, potato soup, smashed potato)

Bread (bread, toasts, bread-crumbs)

Eggs (boiled, fried)

Meat (pork and beef – chops, stakes)

Butter (usually added in all meals and spread on bread)
