Party help ?

Question

ok im turning 13 in 3 weeks and am going on holiday in 2 weeks 4 3 weeks so i need to plan my 13th quick other wise it will be too late 2 invite people after my holz.

The problem is my close friends are going on holiday on my birthday but i really wanted a party so my only other option was to invite my family and since its in August it will be quite hot ( hopefully) so we can all sit outside and have a buffet.

Does anyone have any ideas ?

What we do for birthdays is cook LOTS of DELICIOUS food (:

If it's really sunny out, have a BBQ. Decorate it too! Maybe make a theme? Like Hawaiian? If it's for the family, including cousins and aunt and uncles, how about a Water Balloon fight!? That would be a pretty fun idea. If you like candy, you should get a piñata !! (: Hope these helped if that's what you were asking for. Make it fun! BE CREATIVE. Just don't spend too much money. ^____^;;

BBQ is the way to go, here is my suggestion on what to put on the grill (something a little more special than boring sausages):

Marinated kebabs - Try Moroccan lamb, Honey Mustard Chicken, Sweet Chilli Prawn.

Wrap some corn on the cob in foil and put them on the grill do the same with cheesy garlic bread.

Make two contrasting salads to go with your meat. Id go with a warm potato salad & a crisp green garden salad.

And lastly a huuuuuge chocolate birthday cake with 13 candles :D

BBQs are easy and fun and no one is left slaving in the kitchen. Kick a ball around after lunch, play volleyball or lay down some blankets and play monopoly or something (who doesnt love monopoly???)

u should have a barbeque with outdoor music and canope incase it rains.

maybe have some swimming outing with your families and some friends near to you its the best thing you should do i guess

wouldn't it be far easier to set a date for your party for after your birthday?? I know this may take away some of the birthday vibe, but would be far easier to do..

set a date for the weekend after you get back from holidays and tell everyone now so that they'll go on holidays and be looking for gifts for you for your birthday...
