Party help without breaking the bank?

Ok I'm having a party this summer that's a summer themed party. It's not a pool party but everything is gonna be summery. I don't know what to do for food, music and entertainment. all I have for a playlist so far is Z103.5 summer rush '05 CD, an' Some Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, Sean Kingston, Rihanna, Nelly Furtado, Nickelback, and Feist. I want the music To be hyper for the first part then wind down(slowly) and the party is like 3 or 4 hours probably 3. And all I know for food is pretty much slushies. and I'm 13 so nuttin sophisticated and It's a girl guy party ( an' I'm inviting ma crush) HELP!!!

*Okay so its a summery party!

*Have your friends help you make a play list and make 3 diffrent cds, so its about an hour on each one of music... and asy our wanting it to wind down.. put in the wind down cd lol

What about a Luau

*Have your invitaions made on leis.. Just get them and have a lei connected to them :) or make your own invitations in the shape of pineapples :P

*Food.. Simple burgers and hot dogs with the fixins.. Also you could do a veggie tray,

*I suggest.. buying a small kiddie pool, and filling it with ice, you can use half to keep drinks cool and use the other half for cold foods, you can always make your own veg tray/ fruit tray with tropical fruits.

*You can make an aquatic party, and use blue and purple streamers.. buy some cheap circle fish tankes fill it with blue jello and gummy fish.. so then its also something you can eat and its fun!

*You can do bobbing for apples.. or what ever type of fruit you like.

*Do a costume party where everyone has to dress up.

DO a colour theme party where everyone has to wear the colour that you want.

(Of if you like you can always make your own pizza, i know it make take awhile to make it, but its sooo much better.. or you know what you can have the crusts pre made and frozen.. then everyone can come in and help make a cpl of pizzas and be creative with ingredients!

Ummmm, aside from Leslie Feist, that playlist sounds horrific. Turn on the radio, then it's not you fault what happens to come on.
