Question:

Party in a box survey? Please answer :)?

Hi! Doing a bit of market research here! This is only really for people who have kids or would throw a party for one!

1) Would you be interested in a 'party in a box service' - (i.e themed tableclothes, plates and filled party bags)

2) Are there any particular things you would like in the box?

3) What sort of price range would you look at paying?

4) Any additional comments (positive or negative!!)

Thanks for anyone who (positively) contributes to this!

  1. wouldn't do it

i'd much rather have a party be tailored to my own child than cookie-cutter based on what somebody else decided to package together.

most party stores already have themed sections where you can pretty easily pick up the matching tablecloths, napkins, plates, goody-bag selections, etc., so i'm also not sure the idea would add much to what's out there.

(but hey, people will buy most anything....)

  2. 1) Would you be interested in a 'party in a box service' - (i.e themed tablecloths, plates and filled party bags)

YES! I think that is a great idea, when my son wanted a train party I had to go to many stores to find everything I needed, but if I could buy a train party in a box I'd happily buy it.

    2) Are there any particular things you would like in the box?

    -invitations

    -thank you notes

    -special hat for birthday boy/girl

-tablecloth (option of round, square or rectangle)

    -cups

-plates (large for pizza and small for cake)

-plastic silverware (don't have to be themed, but maybe bright colors)

    -napkins

    -goody bags (optional)

    -themed pinata, filled (optional)

    3) What sort of price range would you look at paying?

I'd pay $100 for a box that would be enough for 10 kids, and then pay $5/person to add more people, so a party for 20 would cost $150.

    4) Any additional comments (positive or negative!!)

Sounds like a great idea, I'd use it for my kids.

  3. I'd want to pay $50. for ~10 kids.

    Themes:

    Thomas the Train

    Hot Wheels

    Pokemon

I'd buy one if the price represented a break on what it would be to buy the items separately.  If bought online, free or cheap shipping, because that negates the savings.

    Thanks for asking.
