Party invitation?

Iam having a birthday/going away party for my fiance' at my house.. He is going to millitary training for the National Guard... We are having Jamabalaya and swimming.. Can someone help me come up with an invitation???

My son-in-law is a Weapons Trainer for the National Guard:)...  

DIP and DINE on _____, at ____p.m., in honor of Private ____.   Please join us to THANK him for his upcoming service in the National Guard, and help celebrate his birthday.  Bring your bathing suit and a big appetite!

How about taking little glass bottles and stuffing them with the invitation...just write the party info on a cool type of paper, roll, and stuff into the bottles.  Deliver them yourself, or if you use plastic 20 oz coke bottles (labels removed), you can add your own to/from labels and mail them via the regular mail (take them to the post office for stamps).  Good luck!
