Party party! we need some ideas for the stuff! we have a theme picked out already, woodstock!

Ok, so me and my friend are both music fanatics, and we are going to try to have a woodstock theme party, in the scence that it is all based around music. We have a pretty small budget.We are having the party at my house, so we dont need a place.

What are some ideas for decorations?

We want to hang peace signs from the ceiling, unless we are outside, good idea?

Cheap food that is still good..any ideas?

Should we do it inside or outside?

We are going to have a ton of music-all kinds, a karaoke machine, and have people bring guitars and stuff! Cool?

Got any suggestions for music?

we have tons of music of every kind you could ever imagine, but just in case we need more.

get some stuff from the 99 cent store...and make your own decorations..it'll be way cheaper that way. as far as cheap food goes, have everyone thats coming if they can chip in a tiny bit of money for the food. then ask them all what they want because they'll be chippin in so its only fair that you ask..then once all of them chip in then you can decide on what to get..and if they dont chip in them maybe you can just ask them to bring something. nothing big just like a box of cupcakes or soemthing.as far as music goes..if any of them have a dock station/speakers than can plug into an ipod, have them bring it over and make a list of everyones favorite songs and then create a playlist on your ipod with all of the songs.
