Party planning for an 11 year old girl?

My sis, she wants to invite over 3 other girls her age, and they're thinking of having a scavenger hunt with a camera, like that I mean they're divided up into 2 teams and since the camera has 27 shots on it they find 27 thing that are on the list, and take a picture of them. any other ideas? By the way they are sleeping over too.

My niece had a party and they did spa treatments. Did each other's hair and nails. They loved it.

A scavenger hunt by camera is a good thing considering it doesn't involve actually taking anything from other people.  But you might give them a couple extra shots...rather than calling for 27 items.  Give them a shot for self portraits (which will be more fun for them to reflect upon) and one or two for the mistakes they may make while handling their cameras.  

They'll have a fun time.

sure just rent a bunch of movies bring out the makeup and play truth or dare (dont forget the junk food)

Makeovers

Photo shoot after the makeovers

Ask guests to bring one CD and have a dance contest

Twister (it's fun late at night, trust me ;) )

Movies

Act out commercials and movie scenes. Give out awards for best actress, best performance, etc.

11 is old enough for the girl to come up with her own ideas and what a great way to encourage creative thinking. Also, give her a budget and make her stick to it.
