  1. why put yourself through the stress of planning 2 parties?  combine the events into one big bash, and have it mid- or late june.

you can invite guests under the pretense of a housewarming party, but include a note to let your guests know it's also a surprise b-day party...your husband won't be expecting a surprise party since it's before his b-day!

  2. I'd have two seperate ones. Personally to me it would kind of lessen my birthday party if it were combined with something else.

  3. Two parties...housewarming should be small and simple...i am so excited for you.............

For the man turning 30.........woooooooohoooooooooooo...go all out..do a big 4th of july bash at your new place, send out invites, and mark that it a surprise party for your special sweetheart.  fireworks and all..

  4. I think 2 parties would be good. Try to have a smaller party for the house-warming party. You could make it something like just a get-together with your family and friends. Make some simple dishes that wouldn't take much cash from your pocket. Since your'e just moving in, you probably don't want to spend too much money on these parties.

Go ahead and go big for your husband's birthday. He's your husband. If he drinks beer, bring a bunch. Just make sure he doesn't get TOO drunk.. lol.

And if that's your kid in your picture, very cute kid!
