Pasadena California a good place to visit?

Hey, I plan to go on vacation next Summer I heard Pasadena California, is nice.

Yes it is.  Unlike some surrounding areas, Pasadena has a very nice downtown.

It is sweet! I live a few miles from pasadena.  They have an outdoor shopping mall with grocery stores and movie theatres.  they have good restaurants and they have the rose bowl.  they have many hotels there.

What are some of the good clubs around here?  I work right off Colorado, but I haven't explore the night life yet (mainly because I'm a Texan and don't know the hot spots yet)

Pasadena is perfect!  It has a Old Town area (along Colorado Blvd~ what you see during the Rose Parade) that has clubs, bars, cheap food and 5 star dining.  People walk the streets all night long you will see "go green" bike riders, Hummers, and limos on any given corner.  It is along the mountains for nice hikes, it is 15 min to downtown, China Town, Dodger stadium, the Glendale Galleria, LA Zoo.  Easy FWY access to get to the beaches or museums.  Close enough to Universal City Walk and the Studios.

the freeways are close and will take you to some of the farther away destinations, such as the beaches and disneyland and you can fly in and out of burbank(bob hope airport), which is just a few cities west.

I live 10 miles from pasadena and am a native angleno for 50 plus years .pasadeno is one of the oldest communties established in the los angles area. pasadena has it all.museums rose bowl science shopping dinning and just to drive around some of the old neighborhood and be amazed by some of the most incrdible architecture that exsists.you caan get stuck on colorado blvd for days and never see it all.pasadena is a fun place just stay off the pasadena fwy if your driving its a nightmare and the oldest fwy in los angeles as well
