I'm trying to get to San Miguel Avenue Ortigas Centre in Pasig City - Philippine. Is it easy to get to Pasig City? Is there an international airport? Where is the cheapest and cleanest hostel in Pasig City - Phillipine? Just looked at Stables guest house and it's between 750 pesos - 1150 pesos per night for a single, thats expensive!!!!!!

Thanks

  1. Like one of the answerers said, there is no international airport in or near Ortigas in Pasig City. However, it is quite easy to get there from the airport in Pasay City. Just take a cab, car service or have a relative pick you up and take you to Ortigas. The guest house that you mentioned is actually cheap already in relation to the price of most accommodations in the Philippines. But then, at those prices, don't expect to get luxury accommodations either. For really clean and well secured places to stay at, a hotel is still the place to go. There are hotels there that cost 1,150 pesos a night and you're sure of getting nice facilities and amenities.

  2. that rate of guest house that you mention is cheap, that must be c**p. There is no international airport in pasig.

  3. just take a cab from the airport going to San Miguel Avenue in Pasig :)

for the stay, you might want to check Richmond Hotel, it's very near SM Megamall :)

By the way, you won't get much cheaper than that price in Pasig city I'm afraid as there aren't many hostels there. You might get better luck in Manila where there are hundreds of hostels at cheaper price.

  5. actually thats pretty cheap
