I played a Game and weve lost by the slightest of Margins....

But I could always shoot the ball but instead I pass it to a wide-open man and he just doesnt converts it...

So Should I be a Pass first player or Shoot first type..??

Also Why is it at end-game the easiest shots always misses,I just misses a lay-up that could change the tempo of the game but i still carried the team..??

  1. Sure you did.

  2. its all about confident yo!

but dont be too confident or else you will be like KOBE [hog]

  3. It's all a matter of confidence. If you have confidence in your shot, and you get a good look, you should definitely take the shot. Practice your shooting at game speeds and in game-like situations and you will start making those easy shots at the end of the game because they will be like second-nature to you.

If you don't get a good look or if your shot has been off for most of the game then you shouldn't risk missing a shot and potentially blowing the game for your team. Remember, basketball is a team sport and at times you have to be unselfish and put the team over everything else.

  4. being too much of either is bad.

Kevin Garnett was too unselfish during his days in minnesota. look, the timberwolves didnt go anywhere far except a fluke for 1 season

kobe bryant was too selfish during pre-gasol. look what happened, shaq left and the lakers struggled. if bynum didnt improve last season, kobe probably wouldnt be wearing a laker uniform by now.

i'll just tell you this. if your shot is wide open, shoot it. if the lane is open, drive and take it to the hoop, if you're well guarded, pass the ball

  5. Quite simply. Know the game, know the players, know yourself. That is what our coach always told us. Don't be a jerk and hog the ball, but if you know you have it then take it. After you have taken a few shots, defenders will be more likely to come out at you (in a zone) and that will leave someone open for a shot. In a man, start driving the lane, that will cause another defender (most likely a post defender) to come and help, dish it to the open low man and 2 easy points. It is all about knowing what to do....just keep playing, it all comes in due time.

  6. I play basketball and when you know you should have the ball yet you pass it off like that, that always tells me you were afraid of taking the shot. Fear is something you can conquer. If you know your better, YOU take the shot.

  7. Remember 81 points from kobe wins games a team wins a championship.

  8. Wow, you sound like me. Well, I prefer to pass first, but if the shot is really easy, then take it. When you become a passer, you just need to know the fundamentals to look good.

If you have a teammate that hogs the ball, become a shooter. Trust me, that ball hogger will mess up your play and slow down ball movement.

Also, when the game is ending, you are tired and might be intimidated to take the shot. Even when you feel like you aren't tired, you really are.

  9. always always always except for 2 situations    SHOOT!!!        the object of the game is to score and stop opposing teams for scoring!!
