  1. Drive.  Depends may also be an option.

  2. Aisle seating, in the back of the plane by the bathrooms preferably.  IF you are up front, make frequent trips to the bathroom.  That way you can stand walk and eliminate in the bathroom.

Moving more and eating light when flying really does help.

  3. Just wad up some TP and leave it in your crack... it'll muffle the sound and absorb most of the smell - unless your insides are just possessed, lol

  4. I still think you're better off using the facility - pants down and sitting on it. If you do it that often, one of these times you're going to release something more than just gas. And you'd be awfully glad you were perched on the throne.

Get an aisle seat. I prefer window seats also, but if I had that problem, I would pass (no pun intended) on the scenery.

  5. If GasX and Beano don't work for you, there is a good chance you have a serious problem, such as an intestinal blockage or ulcerative colitis.  You should see a Doctor right away.  Like first thing tomorrow.  It beats dying.

  6. Wow Frank.....maybe you should see a dr?

    Schweet:)

  7. In all seriousness, unless you are in first class and its really quiet, your cabin co-occupants will probably not hear your flatulence.   Another way to overcome the sound may be to pick seats that are behind the wing where it tends to be noisier.   You could also practice at home regulating your release of gas to minimize audibility.

As far as odor control, you might try lining your undies with the charcoal impregnated material used in face masks.  It helps absorb odors.   Also, there's always a sprinkle of baking soda before you get dressed.

Everyone has gas, there's no denying it.   Since I have no knowledge of your diet I'm shooting blind here, but you might try to eat more fruits and vegetables, definitely drink more water, juice and milk, and try eating some yogurt a few days before you fly.   Those foods tend to help the digestive system stabilize and bring natural bacteria levels to normal.
