Passing grade for a'levels?

my university gave me a conditional offer where i need 1 passing grade.

i assumed that meant an E and above, but some people are telling me that C is the lowest passing grade.?

does anyone know which is true?

(its edexcel, for british universities - if that changes anthing)

What I find hilarious is you are just looking to pass. Are you really that lasy and stupid that you are content with simply passing an exam? Where's your self respect?
