  1. "Freedom" :D

I took either 13 hours and the 14th was my test

or 14 hours and the 15th was my test I think.

But just beware of other road users!

  2. I had lessons on and off over a year  (when i could afford it) so i cant really remember how many i had..

    but i passed first time!

Definatly the most nervous i have ever been in all my life, but when i passed i was SO SO SO happy, awesome feeling :-D

  3. very excited..I felt like a bird with new WINGS...

  4. I lost count of lessons and changed driving instructors 3 times! I was really happy when I passed like most people i guess!

  5. I felt like I was no way ready to drive on my own!!

It took me about 40 hours ro pass my test but I quit lessons half way through and didn't drive for a few months.

Oh and just to clear things up - there is no "recommended number of lessons" I don't know where people get this idea from. The only reference that the Driving Standards Agency make to "45 hours" is this:

"Those who pass their driving test have had, on average, about 45 hours of professional training combined with 22 hours of private practice."

    http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/Lea...

This is just an average figure as a result of a survey and is therefore not in any way, a recommendation :)

  6. I haven't passed yet, but the reccomended amount is 45 hours.

    Some take 10 lessons

    Some take 30

    Some take 45
