Passport Card has anyone received one yet?

Question

I applied for one back in April and have yet to get it. I am traveling in September and am getting a little concerned at this point. I called the US Gov and they said they do not have a status on it yet. They mailed back my birth certificate so I know they have my information. Has anyone gotten the card yet and if so how long did it take?

I received mine today!!!!!!!

I applied at the Federal Building in Cetury City on Wilshire Blvd in California. I had my passport and card expedited. Paid $180.00

I applied for both items on 7/10/08 at 8:30 A.M.

Picked up my passport on 7/11/08 at 12 noon.

Received my passport card today 7/28/08.

Looks really nice!!!!!

I applied for the passport card on 11th June and I still have not received it yet. However the U.S. Department of state stated that applicants who applied before July 14 2008 should receive there card by early September.

I did but then someone stole it!

We expidited it so it got to us early cus there is a HUGE line of people trying to get them because you now need one to get into and out of Canada.

I applied at the US consulate in Guadalajara Mexico in February and still have NOT received my card yet.....  :(
