Question:

Passport ID?

I applied for a passport and they sent me a letter saying I'd needed my NI card and either a bank statment or utility bill. I don't have a bank account and am still living at home and therefore have no bills. Is there anything else I can send in to prove identification, like a letter or something?

  1. Open up a bank account. If you don't have any money to open one up, how are you gonna afford to get a passport?

  2. Get a notarized statement from your parents that you live at that address.

You don't have any mail posted to your name?

  3. you will need a utility bill to open a bank account.

and then £1-£10 to open a bank account.

then you can get the passport.

maybe a doctors card with your name and address on it might be enough??
