Passport Photo? 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?

Question

I took a passport picture with my headband on (both my headband and my hair are black) so you cannot really see it.

I look at the GOV website today. It says: Your head muct be bear.

Should I go back to the photoshop and take a new photo. Or I can use the old one with the headband.

Please advice.

Passports are not kid land. Looking nice is not the thing and your passport can be denied.

Just get a new picture.

the regulation is to avoid scarves and veils.  However, regardless of how insignificant your head band is in the photo, all it takes is for one clerical worker or officer to have a bad day and you will be forced to bring back a new photo, causing needless delays.  Put the extra effort in now and avoid the frustration in the future.

you should probably go retake it,

and also ask for a retake for free, because the person taking the picture should have known the rules.

I think you should be fine. Make sure the photo is 2x2 and that your face is straight and the background white.

i think that you're fine. as long as you can see your face and hair color, because that's all they really want. They just don't want people to come in with a passport photo of them with a hood covering their entire face. If there are any problems, they'll tell you and you just go get another. easy. besides, i'm sure the people who took the picture would have told you if you couldn't wear your headband.

They're pretty severe about passport photos being as simple and sober as possible. You should get these pictures redone. :\ Your photo studio should've known this if they knew it was for a passport.
