Passport Requirements Mexico from Bermuda?

Hi - I am a British Citizen resident in Bermuda. I renewed my passport in Bermuda (which is a British Dependant Territory) and got a new passport issued by the Government of Bermuda. It is a British Passport but it doesn't look like the regular British passport as it says Government of Bermuda on the front. I am visiting Mexico on a cruise in October and want to know if I need to get a visa. Some people tell me that because my passport says Government of Bermuda I do - others say that as long as it says UK Citizen I am ok

  2. As long as your a British Citizen, you are fine and should not have any problems. The reason why your passport looks different is because of were it was issued. Bermuda is part of the commonwealth anyway so no worries.  You don't need anything else.  Enjoy your trip!

  3. You do not need a visa, just a tourist card you will get on the plane.  See site below...look at both lists...Bermuda is not listed on either list as it is still considered to be part of the U.K.  See 2nd site to confirm this...You do need a passport, but not a visa...just a tourist card called an FMT that you get on the plane.
