  1. A Passport is a document from your country of birth, that certifies your name, age, and your nationality.  You will have to apply for this.

While a Visa is a document/pass that you apply for.  If you wish to visit a certain country.  If you want to got to France you will need to apply for a French Visa.

If you visit the website of the country you wish to visit, you can find out it if you need to apply for a visa.  You can also find out from a travel agency.

Some travel agencies will also help you to apply for a passport.  You can also go to the website or information of the Department of Foreign Affairs, who is usually in charge of passports.
