  1. If you are an EU national you will be fine, but generally you need 6 months validity on your passport if you travel to a foreign country

  2. If she is a US citizen...6 months more on her passport...I renewed mine, even though I was leaving the US 6 months, 2 weeks before it ran out, but returning 5.5 months....I was advised to get the new one.  What difference would it make me, anyway?  In your case, you might have a problem getting on the plane.

  3. My passport expires next month and I use it a lot to travel around Spain and to travel back to the UK.

I have never had a problem and have been told by a girl on a checking desk that sometimes they even allow you to travel between spain and UK with an expired passport (although i wouldn't risk this)

  4. Usually it is 6 months so you may need to get another one.

But as your only going to tenerife if you live in the EU the time limit for expired passports may be less... not sure though.

dunno if this site will help you at all
