I went to France last summer, and i just recently noticed that my passport was never stamped (it was brand new, like 3 days old when i got on the plan) is there any reason for this?

I was traveling alone as a minor also, could this be why?

I'm just wondering and honestly disappointed i didn't get a stamp! lol!

  1. Often times with technology your passport is Not stamped just merely scanned in many countries such as France. This is i particularly the case when you come from a country that doesnt requiere a Visa to Enter France or the European union.Next time I would ask for them to stamp it!

  2. It is just that some countries don't find it that important to put a stamp. I have noticed that the US always put a stamp, even on its own citizens passport (which they don't do in France, I know because I'm French).

The officer probably forgot to put a stamp, that's all, but next time, don't hesitate to ask for one.
