Passport photos from places other than the post office?

Are the passport photos from places like Walgreen's or CVS usually good enough to meet the U.S government requirements? Taking them at the post office would guarantee the photos would be fine, but it is pretty expensive if you want to get 8 photos! What place is usually the cheapest?

Any of the store that do passport photos are fine..Walgreen's and Walmart are probably the cheapest.

AAA, walmart, cvs, walgreens, etc... any place that advertises passport photos is good enough, they all have to meet the gov't standards for passport photos in order to sell them. I would say walmart or walgreens is cheapest unless you're a AAA member, then that way may be cheaper
