Passport query-Urgent-please help?

Question : My wifes passport has her maiden name on her passport as she got the passport before we got married.

Question Details: Now I have a job offer from Qatar. Should we get the name changed in the passport. She will be traveling and staying overseas with me on a residence status.

We have a marrige certificate.

Also I got my passport before marriage. Should I get my wifes name included in the same.

The whole procedure takes more than a month and we need to fly overseas next month. Is it possible to get the names changed in the Indian embassy overseas. Also will it be a major problem if we go ahead with our current passports as wehave the marriage certificate.??? Please advise...this is very important.
