Hey Yahoo gang :-) I will be driving from Vancouver to Toronto soon, and would like to travel through the U.S. Does anyone know if a passport is required yet? Or will picture I.D. be sufficient? Thanks for any info!

  1. Picture I.D with a birth certificate, driver's license. At least have 2 pieces of I.D with your name and picture on it, like your health card and driver's license. No passport is needed, because of all the canadian shopping that was happening when the dollar was 1.10 us, so they decided to have it postponed to june 2009, but its better to be safe and maybe call the border security in Canada to make sure. Have a safe trip, and if you're crossing at detriot to windsor, gas up in detriot first as you know they have cheaper gas over there.
