Passport(India) Renewal with B1 Visa?

Hi,

I have a passport (India) with B1 Visa (valid for 10 Years).

But my passport will expire on Dec-2008.

What is the procedure to renewal or getting new passport with the B1 visa?

same as for others. fill up form no 1, ogo to the passport office personally, ur present passport will be returned to you with the wods cancelled on the first two pages of the presnet passport. and u will get your renewed passport in a few days. dont worry about the visa. the pages will still be valid and will be with u in your safecustody.

Apply for the renewal in time.The old passport will be returned to you duly cancelled and a fresh passport issued which will bear a stamp to indicate that the new one is in lieu of the old

with the number mentioned.You simply staple the old passport to the new one and you are all set to travel on the new passport with the visa in the old passport.
