Hi,i made a homemovie ,ready to write it on cd or dvd,but i want to keep it away from other people to watch it,only those i give password,

how can i make a dvd video with password?

  1. If you want the DVD to play in a normal DVD player with a menu that requires a password, you can't do it.  There is no keyboard on TV or DVD players to accept the insertion of passwords.

    If this DVD is only for use on computers, you will need to find someone who can program in Adobe Flash.  They can make a shockwave flash file that will require a specific password before playing the video each time the file is accessed.  In many ways it is like building a video website on disc with access control.  The DVD will probably need to be a data DVD - not a normal DVD in MPEG-2 video.
