Password forgotten, non working cd drive.?

Question

I am trying to use a fairly old computer, but being 6+ months since it was even turned on, and password set by someone else, I can't log on.

I've heard of booting from CD to skip the password logon, but the CD drive doesn't work, and I don't know if the floppy dive works.

Any solution?
