Password protection on web pages ...

How can I add password protection on a freewebs page? I'm not the best with HTML, so please explain it to me well enough so I'll understand.

You will need to use a database for user and site security information, and can not do this with html. You will need to use php. If you are not experienced you start putting your whole site at risk as soon as you get into this, so study well first.
