Past report cards?

ok so when i apply for the catholic highschool im going to be going next year in 2009 i know i have to take a test and all that but are they going to also consider looking at your past report cards? and if so, down to what grade? also are the admissions tests easy to get in your typical catholic private school?

In my experience, a Catholic private school is much like any private school.  While they are religious in nature, they are also a business.  They accept as many students as possible.  They look at your tests in order to place you.  They also look at last year's report card because the ideal goal is to place you in the grade you would be in if you were continuing in public school.  However, they do not have to do this.

    I've never seen anyone turned away from a religious school unless the student had been kicked out of several previous schools and the private school thought they could be of no service to him/her.
