  1. Egg? cheese?

    Pasta Souffle

Break the noodles into 2-3" pieces.  Cook the spagetti as per directions,  brown the grd meat, rinse and drain.  In the skillet, cook 1/2 onion until clear and add meat, 1/4 t garlic powder, 1/2 t leaf or grd oregano, 1 dash of cayenne, salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat.  This should be cooled and no liquid left.

In large mixer bowl beat to a stiff meringue 3 egg whites, add 1/2 t salt, and fold in 1-2 c shredded longhorn or mild cheddar (Swiss is nice, too or any combo).

Fold in the cool meat mixture, and pour into greased casserole.  Bake  325, 25-35 minutes until puffed and slightly browned.(depending on your oven)

For a one dish meal you can add any cubed vegies to the meat to saute, such as zucchini, green peppers, corn, peas, etc.

Serve with crisped garlic bread and a green salad.

  2. Yuck, the problem is using sauce from a can.  Gross.  How about dice up the sausage (hopefully it's not ground) cook that up, add in some prepared al dente pasta, with some olive oil and garlic, toss and heat through.  Sprinkle some shredded cheese on top.  I love doing that with boneless/skinless chicken breast.

  3. sausage n chicken fried

  4. You can cook the sausage and ground beef, set it aside; saute peppers, onions and garlic, add this to the meat mixture. Top with the sauce until the consistency that you like. Pour over the pasta and sprinkle with grated cheese. Sometimes, I omit the pasta, add just a small amount of the sauce and serve this over rolls.

  5. Buy a frozen bag of cheese tortellini.  The different sauces you can use are endless.

  6. Ok here it goes, this is how I would do it:

Season the italian sausage with italian seasoning and some red pepper flakes if you want a little bit of spicyness. Sautée the sausage on a skillet until almost completly cooked and set aside.

While this is cooking, cook the penne pasta in salted water  but don't cook it completely, let it be a liiiiitle bit uncooked.

In a baking dish, spray Olive Oil flavored Pam and  pour the penne pasta. Then add the sausage and pour the spaghetti sauce.

Sprinkle some parmigianno regianno cheese and mozarella too. A very generous amount, so it covers the top.

Put in the oven on 350 degrees for around 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

When pasta is done, sprinkle some parsley.
