  1. our favorite QUICK pasta recipe is this..and it sounds maybe gross but believe me we make it once a week and it takes like 5 minutes to prepare and 20 to cook.

    2 bags frozen tortellini (cheese or beef)

    1 jar Alfredo sauce (you get it in the spaghetti sauce aisle)

    1 jar Marinara sauce (again in the spaghetti sauce aisle)

    1 bag shredded mozzarella cheese

    1 bag finely shredded Parmesan cheese

    in a glass dish mix the tortellini, alfredo and marinara sauces. top with mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese. bake at 375 for 20 minutes.

    I always serve this with garlic bread and Steamfresh veggies.

    I hope you were wanting a good recipe and not how to make pasta or something lol

    boil your pasta (I prefer penne pasta with this dish)

    cook off some shrimp and scallops

    Grab a jar of alfredo sauce

    mix it all together in a large boil

    throw in tons of mozz cheese, let it all melt

    and bada-bing bada-boom its amazing!  

  3. To make the pasta or to go with it?  

    The basic tomato sauce is very simple.  Fry a clove or two of carlic, crushed, in some light olive oil for a minute then add a tin or chopped tomatoes, turn it down to simmer and cook for 20 mins or so stirring regularly. When it thickens up it's ready, season it with salt.

    From there you just add what you want; cooked meat, sausage, bacon, vegetables ... anything you like.  Good herbs to add are oregano and marjoram and chilli.  Don't add thyme, italians rarely use thyme.

    To make a cream sauce, just heat some cream in a pan, don't boil it, leave it to reduce.  Then add cheese, garlic, whatever takes your fancy.

    The simplest sauce of all is carbonara; cook some chopped bacon.  Add a tbsp of the pasta water to a raw egg yolk, beat it with a fork then pour over the pasta and add the bacon.  It doesn't get simpler that that.

  4. Pasta Salad.

    1 lb pasta - shape of your choice

    1 or 2 carrots, peeled and diced

    1 small cucumber, cut into bite-sized pieces

    1 red pepper, cut into dice

    1 - 2 cups cut up meat, poultry, or fish (salmon has body and works well)

    1 large tomato, cut up OR a cup of split cherry tomatoes

    Any additional vegetables you like

    1 cup frozen peas

    1 envelope Good Seasons Italian dressing, mixed with vinegar and good olive oil

    Grated parmesan cheese to add on top.

    Bring water to a boil and toss in the pasta to cook for the directed time. While you're boiling the water and the pasta cut up all of your vegetables and the protein and mix the dressing.

    When the pasta is done cooking pour the frozen peas into your colander and then pour the pasta and it's water over the peas. The boiling water will defrost them but leave the peas with body.

    Mix this in with the other vegetables and cut up protein.

    Pour the prepared dressing over this to taste, some like it wetter than others. Add the parmesan to top.

    Pasta casserole

    Ingredients: 1 egg, 1 can Campbell's (or other) Cream of Mushroom soup, 1 small jar or can of mushrooms, 1 10 ounce can of chunk white tuna (any brand), 1 small can of green peas, 10 ounces of milk or condensed milk, 1 bag of grated cheese. 1 cup of butter or margarine.

    1 box or bag of medium shell pasta.

    In a casserole bowl, break and whip the egg. Stir in the tuna. Add the Cream of Mushroom soup and the milk. Stir well. Add the peas and the mushrooms, including the liquid contents of the cans. Stir. Put the butter or margarine on top and don't stir.

    In a pot or pan, bring water to a boil and cook the pasta. Drain and add to the other contents. Stir well until there are no traces of the butter or margarine (I use Parkay in a tub, by the way).

    Add the cheese on top. (Use your favorite. I like sharp cheddar, but any cheese will work.)

    Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes in the casserole bowl--covered.

    put some water in a pan and bring to the boil add pasta to the boiling water get untill soft ,  a pan add 1 chopped garlick and add 2 tins of chopped tomotoes and stir thne  add 3 desert spoons of tomotoe puree

    to thicking it up mix the pasta and saurce together add to a oven dish add the cheese on top and put in oven for 15 minits untill cheese has melted and golden brown  serve with side salad or oven chips or just have garlick bread

    400g strong flour

    4 Eggs, beaten

    pinch salt

    olive oil as required

    sieve the flour anf salt then shape into a well, pur the eggs into the centre

    gradually add the flour and only add oil if needed to adjust the consistency

    knead the dough until smooth and elastic, then cover with damp cloth and rest for 30 min.

    now u can roll out or use a pasta machine to make the size you require

    Ingredients

    GARLIC:

    1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

    20 garlic cloves, peeled

    Cooking spray

    SHRIMP:

    2 teaspoons olive oil

    1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined

    1 teaspoon butter

    3/4 cup half-and-half

    1/2 cup fat-free, less-sodium chicken broth

    ¾ cup  grated Parmesan cheese

    1/4 teaspoon salt

    1/8 teaspoon black pepper

    2 cups frozen loose-leaf spinach, thawed, drained, and squeezed dry

    4 cups hot cooked linguine (about 8 ounces uncooked pasta)

    Preparation

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    To prepare garlic, combine 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt and garlic in a bowl. Place garlic mixture on a jelly-roll pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until browned, stirring occasionally.

    To prepare shrimp, heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp; sauté 3 minutes or until done. Remove shrimp from pan.

    Melt butter in pan over medium heat. Stir in half-and-half, broth, cheese, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and black pepper. Cook 1 minute or until cheese melts, stirring constantly. Stir in shrimp and spinach; cook 1 minute. Combine shrimp mixture, garlic mixture, and pasta in a large bowl; toss well. Serve immediately.
