Williams’ driver Pastor Maldonado has said that he is hoping to perform well in 2012 European Grand Prix which is to be held at Valencia Street Circuit in Spain on June 24.

In addition, he said that they have been trying their best to make the considerable advancements and the essential preparations so as to improve the pace of their car for the approaching races in order to make their position stronger in this year’s championship fight.
“We're constantly developing the car and it is showing good long run consistency at the moment and hopefully we can improve on the last couple races and pick up some good points,” said Maldonado.
The Venezuelan driver is presently at 10th place in the drivers’ championship with 29 points between Sauber pair of drivers, Sergio Perez and Kamui Kobayashi.
Moreover, he took his maiden victory in the Spanish GP held at Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona after claiming his first ever pole position. Although, he faced difficulties in the previous two races, however, is aiming to bounce back in the upcoming races.
On the other hand, his teammate, Bruno Senna is currently standing at 13th position in the drivers’ rankings with 15 points. Additionally, he is 4 points ahead of Felipe Massa of Ferrari and 6 points behind Paul di Resta of Force India.
Even though, the Brazilian driver could only score one point in the last four races, nonetheless, he is feeling positive that they will be able to achieve good results in the season ahead.
“Our pace in Canada was not really reflective of the cars potential, but we've been working hard to understand the reasons why and hopefully we can put that behind us and gain a stronger result here,” said Bruno Senna.
