The 18-year-old fast bowler, who made his Test debut last week against South Africa in Johannesburg, admitted that he is battling against a sore heel. However, he was upbeat that the heel injury would not prevent him from leading the Australian attack when

"My heel was a little bit sore, but it's nothing too dramatic and it's not going to leave me out. It's nothing too serious. There's nothing you can do, just keep icing it up and it's not going to be a big problem," he added further.
Cummins was impressive against the formidable Proteas on his debut at New Wanderers and claimed a six-wicket haul in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746’s way with
two wickets. The right-arm Sydney speedster was adjudged as Man of the Match for his match winning second inning’s bowling figures of 6 for 79.
Injuries to other frontline bowlers of Australia - including http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SR-Watson-c2558 (hamstring) - have increased the demand for likes of the teenage sensation.
However, the former Aussie players have urged the selectors to remain watchful while assigning responsibilities to the youngster, who had also sustained a minor back injury during Sheffield Shield's final last summer.
The Australian skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MJ-Clarke-c1978, has also said that managing workload for Australia’s pace bowling prospect will be his top priority.
Cummins was happy that his captain and other staff are concerned about his fitness.
"I guess any player has got to be well managed and, being a bit younger, it's even more important," said Cummins. "So it's great they are trying to look after me and all the young guys,” he added further.
