  1. Correct me if I am wrong, but he did not do much running in that game. I heard they wanted to make him more of a passer.

  2. i sit here and watch or read some of the comments on this thread and it is just dumbfounding how some people are so narrow minded as to not give respect where it is needed or deserved i should say,,,, Pat White not having an arm, i mean what planet r u guys from? for you people that dont seen to pay attention to nor read about to educate yourselves, did you know that Pat White was and has been drafted into MLB the past 3 years and that not for his running ability, it is for his athleticism and here we go  HIS ARM from the outfield,,,, come on people can all the sports writers be so dumb and you two or three people be so smart, they are all saying what a talent he is and now will possibly get to showcase alot more of his talents than he did the past two seasons, all these guys that get paid lots more than we do say that he is one of the frontrunners for the Heisman this year and you guys get on here and want to say that anyone could have done this against Villanova,,, well tell ya what, bring your sister along and see what she has to offer,,,, give the guy credit, he wasnt even given a chance at the "big" colleges and here he is bringing little lowly WVU into the forefront of peoples conversation for the third year in a row, just wait til this weekend to see what kind of talent and what kind of winner he is, does anyone remember the Louisville game from last year?  who was the Playmaker that won the game for WVU,,, wasnt Slaton or anyone else, was Pat White making something out of nothing, and running 50+ yards for a score

  4. Dude. Let's be realistic. My sister could throw five touchdowns against Villanova. I wish him well and he is an excellent athlete, but let's not get carried away.

  5. Here's the bottom line.  Rich Rod knew he had him all the time.  The problem was his ego.  His brain-child (spread offense) is his downfall.  He wants to call the plays and wants to run the ball.  It doesn't matter if 10 men are in the "box", he's so hard-headed, he is gonna still try to run.

Coach Stew has said if the opposition is gonna put 8 or 9 in the box, he's not afraid to throw with Pat. That is why Pat only ran the ball a few times. Plus, it's a nice start towards a Heisman run.

  6. His arm isn't that good.  But he looked great nonetheless.

Most of his passes were run out of an option or a bootleg, and he had a wide open path to throw down the field (instead of being stuck behind 6'6 tall offensive linemen).

    He's listed as 6'2, but he's really about 5'11 or 6'.

  7. Who did they play?
