Patches for my bookbag?

my book bag has a woren out thin bottom. are there any patch like items that i could iron on to the thinnest areas? if so please provide a company name please.

  1. go to michaels or ac moore.  


  2. How about creating your own iron-on patches?  You'll need a paper-backed fusible web and whatever fabric you'd want to use as the patch.  A company named Pellon makes paper-backed fusible web called Wonder Under.  There are others but it is the only name brand I can recall offhand.

    You iron the product web-side to the wrong side of the fabric.  Cut out whatever shape you want.  Peel of the paper backing and then iron the patch into place.

    Just about ever fabric store carries this stuff.  You can buy it by the yard or in a package.  The package should be all you'll need.

    I know I've seen it in the JoAnn and Beverly's Fabric stores.  It's available from both of these online and probably many others as well.
