Question:

Patching a hole in jeans?

Wow, I'm full of cleaning and laundry questions today! LOL. My favorite pair of jeans got a hole in them, it's about 2 inches long. Any advice on how to patch them? I don't have a sewing machine (obviously with the questions I ask, I'm not very home-ecish, lol). I know I can't wear patched jeans to my work, but at least to wear on lazy weekends, so it doesn't have to appear great, just not make the hole worse for the time being.

  1. You can buy fabric glue that will hold a patch on indefinitely, through hot water washings and all. Lots of different brands.  Look for it in the hardware store or sewing/fabric shops.

  2. You could either get an iron on patch (walmart, Kmart, riteaid, cvs....) or you can do it the old fashion way with a needle and thread

  3. There are jean patches you can buy in stores, like Wal-Mart. They're easy to put on. You just have to iron them on to the part of your jeans that has a hole in it and there, you're good to go. Hope this helped! :)

  4. iron on patches come in all shapes and sizes nowadays.  try joann, hobby lobby.  iron on the reverse.  enjoy !!
