  1. Did the English really learn anything from that tour?

Yes, don't go out drinking and don't bring ho's back to hotel rooms.

And that ryan sidebottom can teach them how to tackle.

  2. The only thing England learnt is that the mighty All Blacks can still whip their *** no matter what strength the team is they send.    Why send their top team when the embarassment would be greater.

  3. I hope they have learnt what happens when the professional clubs own the game.

  4. 1) you weren't so funny when we were in the final of world cup and you were no where to be seen... but thats not the question we came to toughen up our young boys who great although lost the games proved how good they are barkleys playin out of position stopped carter running ball... and tom rees put in some huge hits on mcCaw and yes im in agreement new zealand are better than england but ill just ad FOR NOW

  5. The long season thing is just an excuse. The All Blacks are in the same position when they go on their NH tours and still win.

So it really comes down to the quality of rugby in the NH,which many AB's playing in the UK have admitted to being too "fowards" orientated, and you need more then that to beat any of the trinations teams.

  6. Erm... right. We had a caretaker tour manager who couldn't direct p**s into a bucket let alone direct Rugby players toward a tryline.

We were missing loads of key players. Not least Wilkinson and Cipriani. As well as the second best lock in the world Simon Shaw.

I fail to see where the promise was. Wait until Johnno gets in and gets his set-up right. Then we'll see.

  7. why dont you grow up, you are just trying to get a rise out of people on this board.

  8. Hmmm, a caretaker coach, a group of players who aren't even that great, half of their front-liners were injured and coming off a long season. Even if they had a full strength team, they'd still have lost but in order to get better you have to play against teams that are better than you so it wasn't a wasted tour plus the younger players got experience.

Funny how some New Zealanders are feeling very cocky considering their choking a couple of months ago.

  9. Who cares, the World cup is the only thing that matters. No one outside of New Zealand cares what happens in between.

  10. i think they will have learned something, it's a newly put together and fairly young and fairly inexperienced team with an inexperienced coach, and throwing them in with the big boys is the only way to toughen them up a bit, and when your in situations like that, you do learn quickly, and i know that from experience

  11. Agian we hear the we have no Wilkonson excuse. He would've made no differance. Carter is a class above Johnny.

  12. The English  rugby team  and the stand in coach were an embarrasment to the queen and country. They not only got whitewashed but chased around 'street girls" and brought shame on the code. The stand in coach should have gotten the ax and them "slick willy " players should be banished from her majesty's realm Lol!!!! next time England comes down to the badlands try not to talk smack because you'll only get smacked around like a kid. hi,hi,hi,hi!!

  13. I think people who whine about these tours need to realise that this was the end of the NH season, there were a lot of injuries to top players and retirements...but it was a good opportunity for blooding new players - isn't that what Henry tried to do with the rotation policy? The fact is that most English, including Stephen Jones, expected the English to lose so they weren't promising anything. Maybe instead of whining, people who have a problem with tours like this should address their sentiments in the direction of the party who can actually do something about it - the IRB.
