Patience is a virtue...?

If patience is a virtue not the virtue, what are the others?? Why is patience the only one you hear about?

  2. That is one that is said a lot but another is Kindness does not hurt it helps .Anyway that's what i tell my young son..

  3. Wisdom is another one, love and courage. Are the virtues equal in a sense? If we have to chose between two virtues, how do we chose?

  4. Having just one virtue like patience isnt really enough. To be a more wholesome person, one must also develop other essential virtues like: respect, loyalty, diligence, honesty,responsibility,kindness, obedience, virginity.

    Of course nowadays few persons have virtues of  obedience and virginity, much treasured during grandparents' time. Every one seems to copy others to become negative and bad, rather than positive and good. That's one reason why society is in a little of a mess now, when we talk about morality and virtues among the young. It's sad, but this is the inevitable evils of First world societies.
