Patrice Evra suggests that Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri should join Manchester United to win big
Manchester United’s French full-back, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360 to quit Arsenal and join United if he wishes to win any trophies in the near future.
Nasri, who is yet to undergo contract talks at the Emirates, is being rumoured to be pondering over a move away from the club. The midfielder was easily one of the best player’s amongst the Gunners roster on display this season, however, all his efforts
amounted to nothing, considering Arsenal went through another season without lifting a single trophy.
Evra strongly feels that the place to win trophies at, is Old Trafford. However when the player was informed about the fact that Nasri was being linked with a shock move to United, Evra seemed rather surprised. However, at the same time, Evra he mentioned
how the French international would easily blend into United’s winning mentality and reach unforeseen success.
When informed about the possibility of Nasri joining United, Evra responded by stating: "Really? I didn't know that"
The defender then went on to regain his composure and added:
"Anyway, if he comes, he has to know there is no room for mistakes. Each year you are playing to win. That is Manchester's culture.
"Each year it is a guarantee of a title. I have been at Manchester for five years now and I can't remember how many trophies I have won. 13? 15?
"So, 'Petit Prince', if you want to become King you know where you have to go."
It is impossible to find anything wrong with what Evra is saying at this point. United have now proven that they are easily the most successful team in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 and that they are guaranteed to breed winners.
However, that cannot be said about http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 at this point. The North London team is now going through its sixth year without landing any silverware and these performances have led many to question the credibility of the club. At the same time, player’s like
Nasri are constantly being linked with moves away from the Emirates in order to pursue and save their careers.
According to most experts, it seems quite unlikely for Nasri to make a move to United, just yet. On the other hand, should the player fail to agree to a new contract with the team, he might just be on his way out, with United being his most likely destination.
