Patrice Evra urges Arsenal’s Samir Nasri to pick Manchester United over Manchester City

At the moment, it still isn’t certain if the Gunners are going to be willing to let go of the midfielder just yet. The player is under contract for another year and if they don’t let him go now, then they would have to let him leave for free next season.

Evra is quoted to have said: "I've talked a lot with him in the holidays and told him how great it is to play for Manchester United and how important it would be for him to become one of the biggest players in the world,” Evra told reporters.
"I remember I made that little joke saying that he's a prince now but if he wants to be the king then he has to join Man United.
"But that's the reality - and I've told him that. I said, 'If you want to win trophies, you have to come here'.”
It is quite unclear as to why Evra feels like he can act as Nasri’s manager and tell him what to do in the future. Having said that it is also quite hard to argue with Evra, regarding his trophy situation. The full-back has gone on to win twelve trophies
in the last five years with the club and from the looks of things, he is bound to improve on that number in the coming seasons.
