  1. well its not that its weak, its that anderson has destroyed most of the tier fighters of that division except for okami who i feel should be getting a title shot soon. maybe they should have okami and cote fight then the winner gets to face anderson.

  2. Bisping

    Henderson

    Leben

Unfortunately 2/3 guys already lost to Anderson

  3. Here's the thing, Cote gets a title shot but he's still in the lineup, he's not at the front.  First Silva will fight Irvin, then he's going to fight Yushin Okami, and then it's cote.  The top five are like this(in no order)

Rich Franklin(who should fight the winner of Bisping Leben, that would show if one of them could beat him that their ready for Silva)

Yushin Okami(he's beaten everybody except Silva and Franklin)

Michael Bisping(lots of potential, but hasn't proven himself)

Dan Henderson(he's lost to Silva, but he's still easily top 5)

Patrick Cote(he's good enough to beat a lot of people, just not Anderson)

As a side note, either BJ Penn or GSP moving up to middleweight would put them in this list also.

  4. Some of the top middleweights are not in the UFC:

WEC: Chael Sonnen and Paulo Filho

EliteXC:  Robbie Lawler, Cung Le and Frank Shamrock

    Affliction: Matt Lindland

Cote definitely should not get a title shot after last Saturday's performance.  Maybe Nate Marquardt?

    James
