Why did Patrick Cote get a title shot after beating Ricardo Almeida? I want to see Anderson fight someone who will test him!

  1. agreed with everyone; hopefully this doesnt happen, that means we will have to wait more months til his next fight

  2. patrick cote will lose in the opening seconds.  If Bisping beats Leben he will be next in line. The middleweight division is soft right now and nobody can handle anderson silva

  3. Did anyone see the Silva, Lutter fight? Silva almost lost that one. He is human and makes mistakes. Patrick Cote is a big underdog but he's a professional and has a chance in this fight. Dana White just wants Silva to seem unstoppable because he can't get Fedor.

  4. because there is no one else at middleweight to test him. he's cleaned the division out!

Cote is on a streak - don't count him out.

  5. The UFC MW division is a joke, same with their HW division too actually.

I doubt Cote will get past 1st round. I mean Yushin is a potential threat but other than him no one stands a chance.

  6. I want to seen wanderlei vs anderson at 205.  that would be a fun one to watch.  oh yeah and your right about the cote fight being a waste, but hey you never know and that is why people actually fight.

  7. if they do fight i predict cote to win by knockout, just remember UFC 69 Matt serra vs GSP.

Patrick Cote is not some MMA wannabe at the nightclub he is a professional fighter, he has never been knocked out or knocked down in a fight, he took chris leben's best shots at UFC fight night 1

  8. it was supposed to be yushin okami, but he recently broke his hand....  other than cote, there's really no one left...

  9. Anderson in a wheelchair can beat the best Patrick Cote--that's the stupidest and most useless match up ever.  Anderson wouldn't even need to train for that, all he has to do is show up...

  10. Ricardo Almeida, from what I hear, is a great fighter. He's probably someone that the UFC thought could give Silva a run for his money. Cote beat him. It's the same situation as it was when Forrest beat Shogun...and yes, Silva is going to blow through Cote. Bisping is probably going to beat Leben. At that point, he'll be next to face Silva. He's got no chance either. By next year, Silva will be fighting at 205, permanantly, because there will be no more fighters at 185 to challenge him. (unless the UFC signs Cung Le)

  11. Really?  Is that the next title match at 185?  Pathetic.  Silva should stay at 205 and fight Griffen next.
