http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Patrick-c29254 Kluivert has expressed his delight after being appointed as Netherlands new assistant coach. The 36-year-old will work alongside Louis van Gaal, who was named the Oranje head coach earlier last month after the dismissal of Bert van Marwijk.
The gifted striker, who started his career at Ajax Amsterdam in the 1994/95 season after coming through the ranks of the club’s fabled youth academy, retired from football in the summer of 2008 after enjoying a distinguished career that reached its apex
during his six-season stint at Barcelona.
Kluivert netted an impressive 90 goals in 182 La Liga games, and won several pieces of silverware during his time at Camp Nou.

“I am very honoured to take this job. It is great that I will have the chance to work with the best Dutch players”, Kluivert was quoted as saying to journalists.
The former Ajax striker, who netted 40 goals while donning the jersey of Netherlands in 79 matches before hanging up his boots in 2004, went on to admit that returning to Oranje feels great.
“I played for the Oranje for quite some years, so it is great to return”, Kluivert added.
The 36-year-old has been coaching the Tukkers’ reserve side for the past couple of years, and was thankful to the club for letting him combine his job.
