that Les Parisiens have added something special to Ligue 1 and to criticise the club over that is just wrong.
The Frenchman was to talking to Ligue1.com and on a question regarding PSG and their lavish spending, Vieira said that PSG are benefiting the league in many ways and it’s a good thing for French football.
"Paris Saint-Germain are doing something really good for the league, for French football in general.”
Several world class players have arrived at Parc des Princess over the last couple of years and the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 player feels that the presence of such players will attract more supporters across the globe.
“They are bringing talents and when you bring in talents you bring in fans, and when you bring in fans you bring in media, and when you are bringing media you are bringing in the whole world."
Vieira added that the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-Silva-c34903 are helping Ligue 1 to compete with other top leagues in Europe.
"I believe that bringing players like Ibrahimovic and Silva is helping French football to become well known all around the world. So I believe that is positive for French football."
The 36-year-old admitted that the Ile giants are favourites to win the league this season but added that it won’t be easy for Carlo Ancelotti’s side to achieve that feat.
“PSG are the favourites of the league, but that does not mean they will win it.”
