Patriot's quarterbacks tonight? opinions?

Question

Doesn't seem to me to be looking good for Matt Cassel, though I don't see why it ever has. What did people think about Gutierrez and O'Connell?

I don't think Cassel is a good back-up. I didn't watch the 2nd half of the pats/ravens game. But I will sometime this weekend. Hopefully they did ok, they should maybe sign Pennington as a back-up.

Well it is the first pre-season game and we shouldn't be too hard on Cassell. If tonight was any indication though I would say that O'Connell looks like the number 2 guy though right now. Though one of the announcers made a good point about how excited people were when they saw Cassell running around the field his first year out. I don't know... hard to tell from the first pre-season game... I was HELLA impressed with Mayo though... he had some good hit tonight! Even knocking a players helmet clean off in the process... he'll be starting in Game 1.

I was at the game tonight and cassel was a joke and got booed off the field after his last snap. LETS ALL PRAY THAT BRADY HAS A HEALTHY SEASON.

O'connel  or what ever the last QB looked alright

Looked to me like Cassel better start job hunting.  Gutierrez looking pretty good, O'Connell looking like Brady better stay AWAY from Giselle a bit more this season.  For a guy in his first NFL game, pretty impressive.  He almost won it for them in the end with fourth down and 19 from their own, what, like 10 yard line?  If only the receiver hadn't dropped it...
