Pats or Geno's Steaks?

Which do you preffer? Philly knows what I'm talking about..

Wish I knew.  I'm a Left Coaster.  We get steaks out here, too.  But from East Coast transplants who came out.  Some are very good, and some are bad.  Someday, I'll make a pilgrimage to the heart of where cheese steaks were invented.  And while I'm there, I'll down a few fresh Tastykakes.  The ones we get out here are stale.

When I visited Philadelphia I tried a number, both Pats and genos, I had seen enough programs from the Food Network on ordering I had no trouble, both were good, the Pats was a bit nicer with the provolone and the hot peppers, I had a half of a Genos and Pats with Cheez Whiz.

I guess it dpends on how you like the steak done, the Pat's was more well cooked but the Geno's was more chopped and easier to eat, so it is a matter of taste.
