Pattern emerging on school shootings like the one at Northern Illinois?

Remember when there were like 10 school shootings in the 90s? The school shooters started off being in the younger grades (some kids were only 10 years old and killed half a dozen fellow students), then of course was the aweful Columbine which was High School. Then the shooters switched to College, and this last one was a Graduate Student.

In other words, the students are from the same generation - born at the same time !!

This is a problem with kids born in approximately 1980 to 1985. It's the so-called Generation Y who are killing everyone !!!!

Do you agree with my analysis?

I heard there are going to be a lot of school shootings this year (from a physic-spell?). People for some reason are just going crazy and thinking it makes it all better by shooting others and then killing themselves (if that). If you hate your life so bad just kill yourself (I don't mean to be mean...but you know what I'm saying) and leave innocent people out of it. It's horrible....

Btw, I'm not so sure about 1980-1985 thing, considering there was a 3rd grader last yr which tried to kill his fellow students, and he def. wasn't in the 80's.

It's definately the Gen Y crowd doing all these shootings.  But the bigger question is; Where are the teenagers getting the guns from?  These are mostly suburban kids from middle-class neighborhoods.  What's with all the firearms?  Are there that many clueless parents going "here sweetie, have a nice gun to play with"?

The gun man was off his meds,.. what kind I have not heard yet, I'm 20 miles away from this college, my whole family has gone to N.I.U.. What in the world is going on out there, I just do not understand, seems we need to pop a pill for everything in life.

I agree what we Need Gun Control and Hard Core Security and smart TV and at all Public Places in America and put in Law that No Person with a Criminal Record or Mental Illness can have a Gun, 2nd amendment I support it but Its along Violent People to do the Most Violent Things Tougher Laws and Tougher Security Needs to Happen Now.
