I totally agree with Barkley, I've been stung more than once by EBay.

I was stupid for doing business with them a second time, although it wasn't a lot of money I lost..it was the pain to get it back. I had bid on 4 DVD'S and won. I had to send $56.00 total. I don't use credit cards so had a money order instead from a local convenience store (another mistake) so all I had was a small stub with the amount no name who it went to.

This happened in Sept..after much going back and forth with the seller, and faxing a copy of the money order stub I finally did get the money back.

They told me they were now out of the films I wanted !

I got the money the beginning of Dec !!

It is not eBay that you must trust but the sellers. Each seller has a rating based on previous sales. Look at them and read the comments about them. It is a gamble for both sides. Will you send the money? Will they send the item?
