The Paris Saint-Germain assistant boss has praised the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international for his hard work and professionalism, and is looking forward to see him in action as soon as possible
Although David Beckham has yet to make his Ligue 1 debut, the coaches at the clubs are expecting big things from the midfielder for PSG this season.
Assistant coach of the cash-laden from Paris, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paul-c29347 Clement, has heaped praise on the former Manchester United player calling him a true professional and a role model for other players. The Englishman was talking to reporters at
a press conference and when asked about http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Beckham-c10432, the coach had only positive things to say.
The assistant boss said that the 37-year-old brings a lot of attention with him but that has nothing to do with his abilities on the field.
"We see http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 brings a lot of attention but we are really excited to have him as a player," Clement told Sky Sports.
Clement added that he has been working very closely with the former Real Madrid player and the fitness level of the player has surprised the coach to great extent. The coach said that Beckham’s attitude is very professional and
the player wants to keep playing for as long as possible.
"He has been here a week now and I have done some work with him last week in London, and my initial impression - my first one, is really positive, a total gentleman and real professional who just wants to keep playing.
Praising the commitment level of the former LA Galaxy midfielder, who has won league titles in three different countries, the assistant coach said that although Beckham hasn’t trained much since the end of last season, he will
be back to full fitness pretty soon and it won’t take him long to make his PSG debut.
"He is a fit guy there is no question about it, but he did not do much after the end of the season so when you get to his age you have to recover but I don't think it will take long and we hope he will be involved very soon."
