Paul Gadds solicitor says his conviction in Vietnam is a Travesty of Justice!?

How?

Why?

When?

How do they come to this conclusion if TWO girls & their families as witnesses say they were sexually abused by him?

Solicitor declares it was a "show trial" in vietnam and was not allowed to put his defence across....

Thoughts?

  1. Well - it was a travesty of justice for Mr Gadd wasn't it - he got jailed - good job to - should have been shot.

Anyone that defends or stands up for these Paedos should also be shot (and that includes the thumbs down scumbags)

  2. He can only call it how he sees it ;)

Only joking. But we dont know the ins and outs of the trial even though we know he was guilty.

  3. To be honest any man caught with over 4,000 images of children committing sexual acts should never be allowed the freedoms we all enjoy.

Regardless of what else he has done there are thousands of children suffered for his pleasure. This is before his acts of abuse on children in Cambodia & Vietnam.

What i find disturbing is people on this site making excuses for this animal even the Home secretary and the judge today have rubbished his solicitors claims, yet people on here still try to justify him !!

  4. How does the kiddie fiddlers lawyer sleep at night? I guess counting the money over in his mind that rocks him to sleep.

Make you think would he defend the scum if pics of his kids turned up on th net?

  5. Shouldn't the thousands of British and European s*x tourists to Cambodia,Thailand, and Vietnam also be tried and convicted?

Are any of you prepared to do anything about it? No.

Maybe a compensation payment to the children or their parents? No

Maybe a few million pounds compensation to the countries involved to stop these guys? No

Well, I was just wondering about the truth behind your apparent disgust.

Just a lot of hot air was it?

  6. The travesty was that he was released. The filthy scumbag should still be rotting in jail. I would love to bump into him on a cold dark night.

  7. No Paul Gadd is not the victim in this.  He was flung out of Cambodia for the same behaviour.  He was jailed here for downloading child p**n images (just as bad as abusing the child).

He is not remorseful for his crimes, he is a paedophile that blames everybody else.  This makes him very dangerous

  8. well, witnesses' and victims' testimony mean nothing unless the defence can present their case

  9. He's working this up to a book and/or a newspaper story for money.

We really must just ignore the sick sap.

We know that the scum is there,he needs and feeds on notoriety.

Deprive him of the Media hype and he just becomes a dirty old man.

  10. Maybe the people who are now defending GG would like to see the guy having his own TV talk show... or something similar.

I think the sooner that b@stard goes into obscurity the better.

The guy is sick... an embarassment for England.

Let's not forget what the pr|ck is thinking when he looks at your children.

  11. There for i would suggest that Paul Gadds solicitor is as bad as he is.

  12. paul gadd needs shooting. i agree with jamand on this. hes a vile kiddie fiddler, he has no right to be breathing.

  13. Yeah he also reckons its against his human rights to have to sign the s*x offenders register. Some solicitor eh??

  14. The solicitor stated what he had been told by his client, he did not state a personal view!

Everyone has the right to be fairly represented in law, regardless of how heinous or disgusting we think the crimes they are accused of may be.

Justice should be seen to be done, and I don't think that comes from the business end of a baseball bat or a gun!

  15. I don't have an opinion one way or the other about whether he's guilty, but to answer your points:

If they're HIS solicitors then it's their job to state his case, regardless of whether he's telling the truth or not. It's a dirty job but someone has to do it.

Just because 5, 10, 20 people can be made to repeat an accusation against you, doesn't make it true unless there's actual evidence that you did it. Google the McMartin daycare case, and the case of Christopher Lillie and Dawn Reed in Britain, for examples of how child abuse hysteria can easily turn into a witch hunt.

Also, the standard of criminal justice in countries like Vietnam is not likely to be as high as is the case in Western countries. Vietnam is a third world country with a high degree of official corruption. The fact that Glitter was able to buy his way out of a death sentence is surely evidence enough of this.

  16. In 1999, Glitter was convicted of downloading 4,000 images of child pornography in the UK

In 2002 He was permanently evicted from Cambodia for child sexual abuse offences

In March 2005 he was arrested by Vietnamese authorities while trying to leave the country he was tried and convicted of child sexual abuse charges in 2005-06.

That sound like an innocent man to anyone? (or has each of these countries got it wrong), well it doesn't to me he is a filthy scumbag paedophile who if justice was to be served would be 'exterminated' as quickly as possible.

  17. We have no reason to doubt the integrity of Vietnamese justice. If a Vietnamese court found him guilty of these crimes, we can only assume he was guilty, unless the conviction is overturned.

But hang on, Jamand? You want people accused of offences against children to be denied legal representation? You want anyone who represents them shot?

Surely no conviction for such offences has any validity unless it is obtained fairly, giving the accused the chance to put his case.

It is because Glitter had a solicitor represent him and support his denial, that we can trust the conviction for child s*x abuse.

  18. I have never heard any of our miscreants and their lawyers say. 'It's a fair cop. You've got me.' It's always, 'These bl**dy foreigners are lying and their courts are rigged. Our nice lads and girls did not get a fair trial.'

Don't blame it on the boogey. Blame the dirty foreigners. That's the British way!
